Hi! I was born in the sleepy town of Timmonsville, South Carolina to 2 unprepared young people who later divorced when I was 12 years old.
I was very "religious" as a child and young adult, attending church school nearly all of my formative years and later attending Bob Jones University from 1988-1994. Feeling a certain call, I moved to China in the Fall of 1995 to teach English in China.
1996: Came out to myself as a gay man; 1997: Left the auspices of conservative religion to find myself; 1998-2004: Work in Beijing, Shanghai & Hong Kong in Training/HR; 2004: Began acting again with Hong Kong Singers, ACT Theatre, etc.; 2005: Acting school in NYC; 2006: Treatment at the Pride Institute/Relocated to Minneapolis; 2007: 2nd Treatment at the Pride Institute; 2008: Working at Boston Health Care Systems and All God's Children Metropolitan Community Church.
My path has certainly been circuitous, and I have made many mistakes. However, there is an unmistakable unseen hand at work through all these years. "I do not regret my past nor wish to shut the door on it." (AA Big Book)
