Up and down,
Moody and mellow.
  
Up and down,
Swarthy and yellow. 
Scuffing a knee,
Needing a break.
Breaking a bone,
Setting it right.
 

 
Up and Down, 
Brooding, but better–
Wounding, but worse.
 
Bound by the letter, 
Binding and terse,
I over-rehearse.
 
Up and Down, 
Like rabbit and hound–
Do what they do,
They spin you around.
 
Up and Down,
Keep your feet on the ground.
Sideways supine
